INCA BIOSTIMULANT
InCa® from Croda Plant Impact is an advanced calcium biostimulant and foliar nutrient designed to improve the movement, distribution, and utilization of calcium within the plant. Unlike traditional calcium products that simply supply additional calcium, InCa uses proprietary CaT® (Calcium Transport) technology to enhance the plant’s ability to mobilize both applied calcium and existing calcium reserves to areas where demand is greatest, such as developing fruit, young leaves, and growing points. This helps overcome one of the biggest challenges in crop nutrition: calcium’s limited mobility within plant tissues. InCa is formulated to be crop-safe, easy to tank mix, and effective under a wide range of growing conditions, including periods of environmental stress.
For Canadian fruit and vegetable production, InCa offers significant benefits in crops such as apples, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, carrots, cucurbits, and leafy vegetables. By improving calcium movement to developing tissues, InCa helps enhance fruit firmness, colour, storability, and overall marketability while reducing physiological disorders associated with calcium deficiency, such as blossom-end rot, tip burn, and poor fruit quality. The product also supports plant resilience during heat, drought, and other abiotic stress events, helping protect yield potential under challenging growing conditions. By maximizing calcium efficiency rather than simply increasing application rates, InCa helps growers produce healthier plants, improve crop quality, extend shelf life, and increase marketable yield throughout the season.
