ASSAIL INSECTICIDE

Acetamiprid is the active ingredient in Assail®, a Group 4A neonicotinoid insecticide designed to provide broad-spectrum control of both sucking and chewing insect pests. As a systemic and translaminar insecticide, acetamiprid moves into plant tissue and across leaf surfaces, helping protect treated crops from pests feeding on either side of the leaf. It is recognized as a reduced-risk insecticide and is widely used in fruit, vegetable, berry, and specialty crops for control of aphids, leafhoppers, whiteflies, codling moth, Colorado potato beetle, blueberry maggot, grape berry moth and many other economically important insects.
